You’ve reached my personal site. I’m a tech policy wonk based in Glasgow, Scotland. I work for an open web built around international standards of human rights, privacy, accessibility, and freedom of expression. That means I advocate for policy and technology developments which keep the internet open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy.
The content and opinions on this site are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of any current contractor or previous employer.
I’m currently freelancing in the UK policy x digital and human rights space. At this moment, I have around 2 days per week capacity available. The usual filters apply.
Aside from my professional advocacy, I’m the author of a book on practical privacy for web professionals and students, published by Smashing Magazine in November 2022.
In 2022 I completed the inaugural Internet Society Mid-Career Fellowship, a seven-month executive education programme on leadership in internet governance.
I have opinions on policy, politics, the open internet, and all who sail in her.
