I delivered this presentation on 16 June 2017 at WordCamp Europe in Paris. It aimed to inspire the WordPress community to leverage their market share and expertise to advocate on behalf of the open web.
(Total waste of time, but I had to try.)
This talk was delivered one year to the hour of Jo Cox’s murder, and it was to her memory that I dedicated the work.
Talks like these make WordCamps brilliant. Bravo @WebDevLaw #WCEU pic.twitter.com/ImERiI3GMm

Interesting talk taking away some of the abstraction of politics. You have a voice and it can be heard if properly used.

Your talks will hopefully spur people to action now, not as a result of shocking events like Jo Cox murder and Grenfell Tower.

But if you care about the future of the Internet, please watch @WebDevLaw's talk and follow her advice. Make the changes happen. #WCEU
