Here are some links to media quotes, articles, and talks I gave in 2020-2021, mostly in a professional capacity for Open Rights Group (my then-employer), on the Online Safety Bill as well as on various post-Brexit UK privacy issues.

Posting this all here may seem like an ego exercise, however, I recently received this email from a follower.

I just wanted to say, thank you for your work. Everything I read from you is consistently excellent – your ideas and opinions, and how effectively you communicate them. It often leaves me feeling unusually emotional. On one hand I feel a deep sadness, from the reminder that the general public (and more importantly, those in positions of power) are often hopefully misguided. And on the other hand I feel gratitude and relief, that people such as yourself are working relentlessly to improve things. So much that I had to write this email! Keep fighting the good fight.

It’s good to be reminded that I wasn’t on the battlefield for nothing. So if someone’s work has made that sort of impact on you, reach out to them and let them know. It’ll make their day.
